Aquaria KLCC

Today's outing is to Aquaria KLCC. After taking a morning stroll in KLCC park, we had a hearty English breakfast at home and then headed to KLCC (a convenient walk of less than 5 minutes from our condo). We bought the tickets to KLCC Aquaria and AquaZone during the MATTA fair - a good deal.

The highlight of the Aquaria is the 90-metre long underwater tunnel where you get to see the Sand Tiger sharks, stingrays, eels, turtles, and hundreds of different species of fishes swimming over you - quite an amazing experience. It's quite amazing to see all the wonderful marine creatures living harmoniously in simulated natural habitat. Other than hundreds of species of fish, there were reptiles and preserved butterflies exhibits. Other than that, the exhibits are nothing great as compared to the aquarium I went in Seoul - that was superb with the underwater acrobat show as the highlight.

Stingray

Stonefish - World's most venomous fish

Tarantula

Electric Eel

After Aquaria, we headed to Aquazone Fish Therapy Centre - where we had feet-tickling experience - it was awesome! We had a fun and enjoyable time soaking our feets and having them nibbled by the famous Garra rufa or famously known as ‘Doctor Fish’. These Reddish Long Suckers will nibble away the dead skin cells and exfoliate your feet. For Alfred, it was a revolutionary experience, haha - the Garra rufas was feasting on his feet! That much dead cells he had on his feet - they swarmed his feet. He intends to return to delight himself and the Dr. Fishes :)
