Time Flies

Time really flies darn fast... can't recall what I have been up to for the past 5 days or so...that's quite sad at times when i couldn't remember anything much of a significance throughout the day even..or probably i am forgetting some things...

the last 5 days...spent alot of time at home and a little time at work...and what else...trying to teach casper new tricks....i can't recall when was the last time i baked a cake... i miss baking! yeah, i am certainly looking forward for that; i'd probably bake a chocolate cake this weekend. The one thing that i am looking forward the most is for honey bunny's return...

Fever day

I couldn’t sleep yesterday night…. Got up today morning with a fever… didn’t wanna stay at home; so decided to follow Ai Lin to run her errands… Brought Ai Lin to an organic vegetarian restaurant… the food was good; we had rojak; fried cream abalone; rice with vege and rice with sweet & sour abalone. Struggled to finish the food; I couldn’t finish; felt so zombie-fied. Then Ai Lin suggested to go and have a look at the Honda & Toyota showroom… test drove few cars; and had a long chat with the salesmen… got back home at about 4.30 p.m. Went with Uncle John & fly to Bkt China for a walk… now feeling feverish…. Later, Uncle John invited us to his house to makan the bacon that he’s gonna ‘cook’.

Smart Casper

When I got back home from office just now, decided to teach Casper a few new tricks. Taught him ‘Turn’ and ‘Walk’ today. He is a darn quick learner; so amazing. He learnt it in no time at all. I was jumping in joy for successfully imparting my ‘knowledge’ to him, keke. So amazing when you teach new things and your ‘student’ grasps it so quickly. Of course the reward was his favorite Pedigree Dental, hehe; he’d do anything for it! Tried to teach him to ‘Roll’ but it’s a difficult trick, more so since he hates being turned around on his back. So the next one was ‘Lie Down’, that was difficult as well; he hasn’t grasped these two as yet; but I believe he would soon :)
Poor sister, she was busy watching TV and I had to drag her to perform the trick with Casper so that I can take few shots. Hehe, worth it of course!

Take it with a stride

Went to Tesco today to get some stuff for the doggies....Casper was so excited seeing the Pedigree Dental that i bought for them....of which he managed to convince me to give him one (now) when he 'fetched' my sandals from outside....he is quite a handful :) he happily took it to one corner and savored every bit of it....

I've gotta finish my Entrepreneurship Project paper by this weekend (of which i have managed to extend the deadline to next wednesday).... not that i am so excited to do this, hehe....just to take my mind off certain things....and i have lots of keying in and following-up to do with regards to ind training.....and also gotta set the exam papers for the next tri.... and also gotta complete the ind training guidelines....Oh my, only when i put it in papers did i realise that there is so much to do :p

Anyway, back to work.....i certainly can't say TGIF!

Stolen!

My mobile phone was stolen today, at don’t know what time. Gosh, I was so pissed at the person who stole it, had all the guts to come into my office room and steal it at the brink of a second when I went to the toilet. I love that phone; and now I lost all the contact numbers! That’s so sad! Anyway, I didn’t think much of it once I got back home. At first I was in a state of trance when I realized that my phone is stolen. Then, brushed it off, thinking that nothing can be done; let the thief rejoice over his/her ‘treasure’; he/she must be happily fidgeting with it now with a big smile. It is such a beauty, sigh. The thing is that it was so difficult to find that handphone model, which is no longer in production; and it was a love at first sight when I first spotted the phone :( When I came back home, my sister jokingly said “Don’t worry, I’ll get you a new one”.

Other than that, the day went fine. I was compiling the mark sheet for the industrial training student. I beamed with contentment when I read my student’s email, complimenting me with such sweet words; and when I received the mini calendar attached together with a student’s final report; they are just so sweet. That’s the joy of teaching!

Another sad event is that Pn Haili, my favorite pal in the office, will be transferred to another department on 15th Jan. She’s so fun to be with, always joking about everything under the sun; we laugh at the silliest things and I am always most comfortable talking to her. Whenever I go to the admin floor to collect the faxed letters, she’s always there with a smile on her face and her quick witty comments. Will be missing you a lot and will keep you posted of all the happenings here, Pn Haili.

So, I left work early today coz’ I didn’t have the mood. Came back home and pulled a prank on my sister; she is a couch potato, glued to the TV most of the time; so I just shut down the main power switch… Ha Ha Ha; it was so funny; she thought it was power failure; it was not long after that she realized it was me! I just couldn’t stop laughing.

And Casper is naughty as ever; always aiming at inner garments (his favorite toy!). And he is so clever in picking out what he wants from the laundry basket and runs around with it with pride! It can be an embarrassing sight especially when my grandfather is around, hehe. I let Casper have my brassiere (which he stole from my laundry basket) and he is so happy :)

A long and productive day

Today has been a darn long day...with lots of paperwork...non-stop...but it has been a good day...at least i am so pre-occupied as not to think of other mind-boggling things...and it has been a productive day as well....myself being always the last-minute freak, finally being able to finish some of the 'overdued' tasks today....feels good!! had some dissapointments today as well, as far as friendship is concerned, i've gotta learn to accept some changes and let it be... i've tried, but getting tired... or rather am i being sensitive here? I don't know... but the fact remains that there are some changes that causes us to drift apart...further and further away.... sigh.....

anyways, today is Pasar Malam day! My most favorite day of the week! coz of the yummy-delicious-mouth watering-variety of food! talk about food, and i am always as excited as ever.... well, actually I should be watching my waist-line since I have been eating alot nowadays; always craving for something to eat all the time! Gosh, this is serious! i should watch what i eat. So, i am looking forward to going to pasar malam today...oopssss..... i did it again! (serious problem)....

i have been telling myself to workout for the past 2 weeks, but didn't stick to what i've planned...chronic chronic...i should be doing sit-ups----overdued since the last 2 weeks....hmmm...how am i gonna fit it into my busy schedule (konon-konon laa....excuses!)...

anyway, i better get going...it's already 6.12 p.m. and the pasar malam food is waiting for me!
