Day 14 (27/11/06) – Monday:
- Woke up early. Packed up the remaining things and all set to go.
- Called Yasmin before leaving and bid farewell to her; promising to keep in touch.
- Took a cab to Edinburgh airport at about 8.30 a.m.
- There was a delay in the flight. Reached Heathrow about 1.30 p.m. It’d be such a long wait before my flight; flight is at 10 p.m. Mind-boggling to kill so long hours.
- Went to the MAS counter; it was closed and it’d be only open 3 hours before departure; which would be at 7 p.m.
- I was roaming around the airport; was reading “The Five People You Meet in Heaven” by Mitch Albom.
- Then, just sat at one corner and watched people; macam-macam; an interesting hobby; people-watching.
- Had sandwich for lunch; no mood to eat.
- Departed at 10 p.m. Had good meals during the flight.
- Reached KLIA at 6.30 p.m. My family was waiting at the arrival hall. Glad to see them; they were all so excited that I am back.
- Uncle John brought us to KFC for dinner. Gosh, of all places!
